So anyway, this is about LSC. again.
We need class cheers, those with ideas please send to class email. The ccm has come up with uhm... 2 cheers? Im not sure. anyway, uhhh... try to come early on mon, then we can run through all the lsc stuff then. And also, try to come up with a class flag design, and make sure it's nice, cos we're gonna be carrying the flag EVERYWHERE WE GO during lsc. ohoh, and class mascot too, sheesh. ANDANDAND. We have to discuss WHY we chose to have these designs and etc, and we have to present... and im not sure when the competitions are, cos they changed the timetable. ANDANDAND. PLEASE. REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR flag making materials and stuff. like... paint and everything. and you must make sure that the ink we paint the flag with is waterproof, meaning it wont run when it suddenly rains and say, our whole flag is drenched.

- The t-shirt color is mainly white and design is blue~ I love blue! ;D

Regarding talentime:
The people who stayed all the way till 3.30pm have already memorised and done ALL the moves! Give them a round of applause! *applauds*

THE 23 EGGS THAT MAKE A DOZEN ARE THE BEST IN THE CARTON: A OneDozenEggs Production.Okay, our finalised t-shirt design is done... but I can't upload the images since my internet's super slow now and it'll take an hour each. Basically, it's a white t-shirt.
The front design is the one with the heart on your heart. The heart is darker blue inside, lighter blue outline and the words 112nygh on it in white.
The back is the one with the blue swirlies - B. Only, it's a darker blue now, and Mrs Wong's name has swapped places with Wan Qing's.
Ok now that the class-t is done, we have to wait. If by some miracle we do recieve it by lifeskills camp, then, well, good. ^^
Oh, we also have to dance. So those people who haven't looked at the sheet of paper yet, READ IT AND REMEMBER YOUR MOVES.
Btw, do we have a class cheer/mascot?

huge fonts, lunch timetables and other updates

So forgive me, dahhlings. But look at it this way: you won't have problem reading it even with a high myopic degree.
Although if your degree is really high you MIGHT still have problems seeing it, but whatever, I digress.
Again.
Anyway!:
From now on during all lunches it will be compulsory to stay back in class to practice our Talentime. Talentime is in 3 days' time. I cannot emphasize this enough! Please put in your best effort. FOCUS. We don't have much time to get this down pat. Alright? Don't think of it as something stressful... Be ENTHU! I know you have class spirit. C'mon, dig it out.
Also, I understand that some of you are afraid of getting anorexic, or you need to look for a teacher. I know. For the former, it is excruciatingly embarrassing to have your stomach rumble in the middle of the lesson. Anyway...
Please try to eat as much as you can during recess (no gluttons, though, PLEASE) and also do your teacher-talk-stuff at dismissal or recess or email if possible. We need the most time we can get. If you girls are really fainting from lack of food a maximum of 8-10 minutes will be given for food, but nothing else. I hope you understand.

Today's CCT and lunch was a little, um, disorganized.
I was thinking of posting the official colour choreography for the first half of the dance, but discovered that someone might have accidentally (or purposely, though I doubt it) taken the sheet of paper home.
Search your files! (And bags. And wherever you think that evil sheet of paper might have hidden itself.) It is a piece of FOOLSCAP, with blue and brown handwriting that looks like your BOM's, because it IS.
And it has lots of untidy sketchy drawing (in brown wet-ink pen) of the audi stage.
If it is in your possession take note that you are holding a very important sheet of paper. It is like our government secrets (just kidding).
O Guilty One, please return it to me by morning assembly tomorrow (27/2)! If you took it on purpose I'm sorry to say you're quite mean. Because this delays everything... A LOT.

Firstly, tomorrow is two ponytail or plaits day. Those with hair length below shoulder length will HAVE to tie their hair in two ponytails or plait it. ABIDE. Because if you don't you have to pay 100 cents!!! Which actually is $1. All the money will go to the class funds.
You are supposed to think of some dance moves for talent time. If not, we will have to do freestyle which I believe everyone doesn't want.
Mrs. Kuan's birthday is on the 27/02/08! If you have ideas on what to get her, please tell Grace and Sarah! We shall make her a card!!!
Claims for class funds! Please go to Sarah to claim! PLEASE! Go collect ASAP. Collect before the term break. If not, it will be very hard for Sarah to keep track kay!!! Worse still, we might have to impose the "After term break you cannot redeem your money you spent for the class in the previous term" rule. So PLEASE. Go collect your money if you haven't do so. Those who haven't collect by term break shall generously donate that amount of money to the class funds. So if you want to claim the money back, CLAIM BEFORE TERM BREAK!

THE 23 EGGS THAT MAKE A DOZEN ARE THE BEST IN THE CARTON: A OneDozenEggs Production.Hello everyone. If you're wondering what the "THE 23 EGGS THAT MAKE A DOZEN ARE THE BEST IN THE CARTON: A ONEDOZENEGGS PRODUCTION." thing is about, it's my 'header' for every post I make on this blog. You might say it's a proclamation of class spirit, but whatever.
I'm making this font LARGE so that hopefully it will aid you in your quest to focus on the screen, yes? The topic that is to be discussed right now in this post is our TALENTIME.
The following pointers are facts, and FINALIZED FACTS at that.
- We are going to dance to 'All For One' from HSM2* for our Talentime. The verse dance steps are going to be self-choreographed**, so don't worry about unoriginality. However, for the chorus, we have decided to follow HSM2's official music video for 'All For One', as shown in the Dance-Along, which can be found on Youtube.
- Please do not ask me or any of the dancers why we are not doing 'I Don't Dance'. As stated yesterday, 'All For One' is 'higher' (referring to that boost you get when you take drugs: don't worry, though, we AREN'T on drugs, just very class-spirit-y). Also, it is more like Talentime. 'I Don't Dance' is something less people than 23 would do. We looked for a group song and All For One is it. So please accept that decision as finalised.
- Each of us are in different coloured groups, with 7 groups of 3 and 1 group of 2. Each of these groups have assigned colours, which will be the colour of the preferably plain (or minimally-designed) shirt that you are going to wear for Talentime, over your NYGH PE SHORTS and NYGH SOCKS, with no shoes, because we don't want your poor feet getting on fire or something from the friction when you slide and all that. Plus shoes look horrible. Yes. So socks only on that day but don't go traipsing all over the school in socks only: socks-only is ONLY FOR TALENTIME. Mark my words, yesss.
Well yes. That's it. So instructions will be given below, on how you are to practice the dance: PCCG and Class contact time is not enough. Really. Not. Enough.
So what you have to do is:

Jasmine & Zest
Amelia & Rachel
I am so far horrendously alone (I WAS paired up with Jasmine, then Rachel, then Amelia, then Ping Ghee, but now I am SINGLE - yes, divorced 4 times).
By Thursday latest, please approach Grace or email her (it's on the class noticeboard, people) with your pairings. We know 1 person will be without a partner. So, here's the options:
- The person will be our DJ, but that will greatly affect our colour co-ordination, so OUT. ZILCH.
- The person will do an individual dance along with the other pairs. Individual dance is taught on HSM2 Dance-Along as well. We'll try not to let there be only one loner; it not only looks bad, it feels bad too. Okay?
- ...Please don't let me be the loner. I've been divorced 4 times. I've been through enough heartbreak, don't you think? ;P
So anyway, come up with your pairings. Dancers, we'll come together to discuss finalized plans. If you have any suggestions don't hesitate to email nygh.onedozeneggs@gmail.com, our class email. I'll try to check it everyday, but I'm only human so don't expect me to really check it every day. And if you didn't email me in the first place don't say I didn't acknowledge your suggestion because I didn't even hear of it before, yes.
This may seem harsh but 112, face up to the fact that our Talentime is less than two weeks away. 1 week and 3 days, to be precise. We don't have much time. So get enthu (I know you are, deep down inside, so get that inner enthusiast OUT AND RUNNING).
And please, try to be more co-operative during trainings. You people still get lunch while us dancers are learning the steps to teach you guys. This whole dancing thing will be OVER very soon, so let's do it well and quick. Don't complain about how tired you are or how you HATE HSM or All For One; just think of the other 22 eggs...

We'll discuss it as a class during lunch: the choreography for All for One for Talentime. So for Monday to probably about Thursday (we don't have much time), whole class will finalize dance moves for All for One.

Summary
Alex Fletcher (Hugh Grant) is a self-confessed has-been 80s pop star, a member of the since-disbanded PoP! band. He has been living a life of performing concerts at increasingly humiliating venues, like high-school reunions and entertainment parks.
When the tween queen of music, Cora (Haley Bennett) asks him to write her a song "Way Back Into Love"** for her new album, he jumps at the chance for stardom once again. The problem: he has a way with melodies, but not with lyrics. He can't write a song for nuts, let alone finish writing one in about 3 days, which is the deadline Cora demands for her upcoming concert.
His manager hires Avril (Lavigne)'s songwriter, a crazy hippie dude, to help Alex write a song, but the lyrics don't seem to click. While the dude and Alex are talking it over, Alex's quirky, bright plant lady Sophie Fisher (Drew Barrymore) comes up with some lyrics by herself.
They do not know each other very well yet, but along the way he discovers more about her. Sophie is extremely talented in creative writing, but is still reeling from a disastrous romance with her ex-teacher Sloan Cartes, the latter whom eventually wrote a book about Sophie, which hurts her.
Alex is captivated by her amazing song-writing abilities. They work day and night at the song and eventually fall in love. Along the way, they meet Barbara, Sophie's older sister (older than her by 7 years; already married with two kids), who is crazy about Alex. The character of Barbara adds extra comic relief to this comedy-cum-romance which many of you may find interesting.
Interesting fact: Cora is quite a romance fanatic. The reason why she writes so many 'religious' songs*** is because, according to Alex, "she thinks the Dalai Lama was once a flame of hers".

hi grrrrrraceas u have probably seen, the neoprint booths at jec are much bigger. the biggest one can DEFINITELY take 23 people (no bags thougu) and it's juz a problem of fitting the heads in :D.
but still, we'll see.

Class shirt, flag, mascot, Talentime: basically the stuff you heard during Assembly today. Pingghee, I'll do this Agenda thing and maybe some kind of consent form thingum for the meeting and email to you + print out for the, um, RELATED CCM people. Yes. So for the rest of the class, no stress... FOR NOW. :DD I'm sadistic.

Class neoprints, movies, outings, et cetera: another meeting should be held to discuss this, but I have to say most probably no to neoprints and movies. 23 people? In one cinema? Or neoprint booth (which are always stingily small)? It will be very hard to book tickets and collect funds for the former, and for the latter it's self-explanatory. Sorry. But outings CAN be arranged.

What WAS I going to say. Oh yes. Hannah, please don't say "Hi I'm Shirona" and then not put your real name? Because we won't know who is "I" in the first place. Yess. And as for the PSUEDO NAMES bit, I think as Rachel -affectionally put, "Lychee"- said, it will be very inconvenient. So, use your names, but no surnames/full names/pictures/et cetera.

We CAN check out some random place like the Botanical Garden (not very interesting, but very good for games, went there like twice in my ex-school) and Zoo (WHICH ROCKS I HAVEN'T BEEN THERE FOR AGES YEAHHH ;DD). Or, in a spree of madness, let's go to Bangkok and spend the whole of our class fund. JUST KIDDING.

once the class email is announced, send a recommendation* to the class email from your own! nobody shall edit whoever else's submission. I'm trusting you gals on that, okay?
*recommendation: this is something like the classified's section on the 3rd page or something on sundays. this coming sunday or the nearest one, check it out. it recommends stuff like music, books, movies, fashion, etc. so likewise, submit any recommendation (rational, please) to class email.
last but not least, I am making this blog public. But this means no personal info or emails or whatever (Like personal photos) put here, okay? Please respect the safety of everyone. Including yourself. We're in this together. (And I don't mean it in the HSM way... OK maybe I do, but whatever.)

Woah. I looked at the blog about 15 minutse ago and noone posted for today. I come back and you guys are already having a posting relay. :DFirst and foremost, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR everyone! :]
Secondly: If you still owe grace t-shirt designs. HAND THEM OVER NOW! [okay, maybe not now. Monday.]
Third, Nat, your activities and stuff sound fun. Reminds me of one of my friend's old school Poi Ching[sp?] They had pyjamas day as a school activity where everyone wore pyjamas to school. They even had a hair dyeing day where they could dye their hair. Lucky them. >.<
Anyway, off point. The activities soundly really really fun, and if we can get the class to cooperate then maybe we can go for it. :]
But you'll have to ask Grace first. She hold the most authority in the class.
Fourth: I agree with Nat! It's hard to fit our schedules. Some people might not have transport. [most likely me]

hi.uhhh... a class gathering like that would be fun, but then we would have to top up the class funds and also make sure that everyone is free on that day... like some people might have training on certain days or something... yea. And uhh... if we book tickets online it would be really inconvenient...i guess, cos one of our parents would have to use their cards to book, if i'm not wrong. =P hmmm...
i think the next pccg or cct we'll discuss the gep breakfast... yea.

my last year's class had one on wednesday and it was really cool!!!!!!!!!!
we ate pizza and dragged a few teachers along , took photos, went to JEC and took neoprints, went to the arcade, sigh not fun at all, really noisy and messy and soon some ppl were chased out (ok not chased, just reminded that they shouldn't be there) coz they were in uniform. hahaz
we should organize such a class outing! we really should!!!!!!!
u know we can watch a movie someone can um buy tickets for everyone online, like the whole class together in 2 rows or something like that. then we'll all pay that someone and then watch the movie. lalala. there's a lot of GREAT movies coming up this year: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Inkheart, The Tale of Desperaux, The Secret of Moonacre, Twilight, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian..........

activities and stuff
heyho 112.haha. okay, so anyway, this is about our class activities and various fun days :D haha. okay, there's this list of activities and different days that we can have:
monday, tuesday, wednesday... (i know i'm being lame, but forgive me, I just finished my homework :D)
-Two ponytails day/ plaits day (BWAHAHAHA. for those with longgg hair ^^)
-MOVIE WEEK!!! (basically i think we just bring movies for a week and watch during lunch and recess or something...)
-THE long greetings to teachers day... (but we do this everyday, don't we??)
-Class breakfast (Mrs Wong mentioned this, we should plan it)
-Class deco. day. (we decorate the class -.-)
-Class cheers (YAY 112~!! I feel retarded-.-)
-multi-language day (this is IMPORTANT, esp. if we want to be an international class. Basically we have to speak Jap, English, Chi, Malay, French, German... you get the point)
Which reminds me, we can have a multi-language greetings to the teachers day, instead of long greetings, because the many languages will make up for the long stuff we say :D
I can't think of anything else... but these are just suggestions, so we'll vote on them someday. Uhhh...ohoh, you can suggest stuff as well, during cct or something, if Mrs wong gives us time.

CLASS SHIRT
Hi!Thanks for responding quickly to the topic of CLASS SHIRT.
Pingghee: I should think so. Practice makes PURRFECT! XD (Not that I like cats so much. They're cute when they're kittens, but not so much when they're older. Dogs are ALWAYS cute. <33)
About the colour bit:
Pingghee: It shouldn't be ALL black and white. Black and white is too norm-ish, don't you think? Bright colours would be advisable. Or CHEERFUL, at least. ;DD And yes, put the colours of the shirt AND the design on the shirt in your entry. Cos this way, we know what colours you prefer. For all you know, you might want our shirt to be pink and we make it as a bright horrendous green. So STATE WHAT YOU WANT.

Class T-shirt matters
@grace: Okay, sure. We'll discuss the t-shirt design. And by meeting, do you mean I'll have to take down minutes[notes/agenda etc.]?Can we get EVERYONE's design then let's say.... short-list a few? Then the people[classmates/eggs] can vote? Or do we just immediately put them to a vote?
And, I think it's best if we see the design first before we decide on the colour. Some colours don't match on some designs.
And people, do what you did for the lifeskills camp t-shirt design. Make use of the black and white spaces.
