Talentime Updates

• We are going to dance to 'All For One' from HSM2* for our Talentime. The verse dance steps are going to be self-choreographed**, so don't worry about unoriginality. However, for the chorus, we have decided to follow HSM2's official music video for 'All For One', as shown in the Dance-Along, which can be found on Youtube.
• Please do not ask me or any of the dancers why we are not doing 'I Don't Dance'. As stated yesterday, 'All For One' is 'higher' (referring to that boost you get when you take drugs: don't worry, though, we AREN'T on drugs, just very class-spirit-y). Also, it is more like Talentime. 'I Don't Dance' is something less people than 23 would do. We looked for a group song and All For One is it. So please accept that decision as finalised.
• Each of us are in different coloured groups, with 7 groups of 3 and 1 group of 2. Each of these groups have assigned colours, which will be the colour of the preferably plain (or minimally-designed) shirt that you are going to wear for Talentime, over your NYGH PE SHORTS and NYGH SOCKS, with no shoes, because we don't want your poor feet getting on fire or something from the friction when you slide and all that. Plus shoes look horrible. Yes. So socks only on that day but don't go traipsing all over the school in socks only: socks-only is ONLY FOR TALENTIME. Mark my words, yesss.

Well yes. That's it. So instructions will be given below, on how you are to practice the dance: PCCG and Class contact time is not enough. Really. Not. Enough.

So what you have to do is:

Pair up with somebody. So far the pairings that have already been made are:

Ping Ghee & Callie

Jasmine & Zest

Amelia & Rachel

I am so far horrendously alone (I WAS paired up with Jasmine, then Rachel, then Amelia, then Ping Ghee, but now I am SINGLE - yes, divorced 4 times).

By Thursday latest, please approach Grace or email her (it's on the class noticeboard, people) with your pairings. We know 1 person will be without a partner. So, here's the options:

• The person will be our DJ, but that will greatly affect our colour co-ordination, so OUT. ZILCH.
• The person will do an individual dance along with the other pairs. Individual dance is taught on HSM2 Dance-Along as well. We'll try not to let there be only one loner; it not only looks bad, it feels bad too. Okay?
• ...Please don't let me be the loner. I've been divorced 4 times. I've been through enough heartbreak, don't you think? ;P

So anyway, come up with your pairings. Dancers, we'll come together to discuss finalized plans. If you have any suggestions don't hesitate to email nygh.onedozeneggs@gmail.com, our class email. I'll try to check it everyday, but I'm only human so don't expect me to really check it every day. And if you didn't email me in the first place don't say I didn't acknowledge your suggestion because I didn't even hear of it before, yes.

This may seem harsh but 112, face up to the fact that our Talentime is less than two weeks away. 1 week and 3 days, to be precise. We don't have much time. So get enthu (I know you are, deep down inside, so get that inner enthusiast OUT AND RUNNING).

And please, try to be more co-operative during trainings. You people still get lunch while us dancers are learning the steps to teach you guys. This whole dancing thing will be OVER very soon, so let's do it well and quick. Don't complain about how tired you are or how you HATE HSM or All For One; just think of the other 22 eggs...
