Chinese Drama Production
People, 南洋剧防 (Chinese Drama) is having a production. It's about dreams, a different dream from those people normally have and how the main characters overcome many difficulties to get to their dreams. Whether you like comedies or melodramas, this production is for YOU! There are comical parts and sad, weepy parts. the stories are extremely interesting. There's the Fantastic Four (*snickers. They're different but also have powers), this motel which operates by robbing it's customers, and many more! The show is on the 23rd and 24th of May, 7pm in the Siew May Auditorium. If you would like the tickets, they are priced at $8, $10, and $12. Please order from Fiona or any Chinese Drama person. there are -or were- nearly 200 posts on this blog, but now there are less, because (I hope you don't mind) I deleted all the recent posts which have flamed (rachel's and huahua's mostly, I think).
before you post, please think about it. it's not worth killing our class spirit to vent your anger on your blog. please be aware that there are twenty-two other girls just like you who may read your flame and get hurt. if you don't want that to happen to you, don't let it happen to others.
let's keep our class spirit, okay? we can't go on for four years together if we remain like this. it's just the beginning. if we start off on a rocky road it's going to be hard to smoothen the path later. so can we kick the flaming habit now?
if you have any problems or anything, feel free to approach me or Miss Lye. don't flame on your blog, on our blog, or on our whiteboard. (or on anyone else's, for that matter.) and one more comment: please, no explicit language. even if they're censored, we pretty well know what you mean.
there are more than enough words in the dictionary without you having to add the censored ones in, so please, choose from those, um, APPROVED by the kind people who do censors.

1. bring the form for parent-principal meeting and the report book thing to ping ghee by monday if u havent handed them up
2. we need to hand up the ICT assignment 1 by this week!
3. take good care of your "eggies" aka pinch pots if u brought it home and bring it the next art lesson. crystals apply too if u brought urs home. =DD
4. do your math learning outcomes and bring them next math lesson which is...let's see...wednesday
5. ya so rmb tt mrs wong (math) has exchanged periods with ms goh so tuesday there's science. groups who havent done their presentations, beware...hehe
6. history presentation is next week thursday. groups pls get ready! =)

yes I'm moving to bangkok in term 3 week... something. and my parents won't be back for 3 years. I'm not too sure about me. I have to stay in bangkok for AT LEAST A YEAR before I am allowed to go back if I 'cannot take it'. if all goes OK, because school term @ bangkok starts in august, I can visit you guys during YOUR school term and sit in during lessons and say hi and whatnot. Sad news. According to Callie's sister, Callie didn't just sprain her ankle, she also tore a ligament. She will be on MC for a week and she'll have crutches for a month. AMENDMENT: CALLIE WILL NOTNOTNOT BE ON CRUTCHES FOR A MONTH. TYTY
I really hope it's not that serious... but it seems pretty bad. poor Callie.
Let's all hope she gets well soon!!!
Maybe we can make a get-well-soon card for her.
sigh... so many ppl in our class are not feeling well
hope TJ, Wanlin and whoever else is not feeling well (including those feeling EXHAUSTED) will soon be ok! anyway we have the weekend to recover... though the weekend is never enough.

Here are some important matters. Some of them have already been addressed in school but are just elaborated, edited or repeated here. Please pay attention!
- MODERN DANCE CONCERT. Modern Dance is putting up a concert 'Hatful of Stars II' on the 19th of April 2008 (Saturday). There are two timings for the shows: 3-4.00 p.m., or 7.30-8.30p.m. Tickets are priced at $12 each. Please check with your parents if you can make it and e-mail me by Sunday afternoon. Any changes or last-minute notices after that will not be entertained and a 0 will be put under your name. You must inform me even if you're not going! - YOUTH DAY FUNFAIR: PROPOSAL & COMMITTEES. The proposal is attached again here, even though it is already in a previous e-mail. Please refer to it so everyone knows what the class is doing for the funfair! This is a group effort and it cannot just be the sweat (and tears?) of the FT and CCM. Please understand that :D Also, as mentioned in the previous e-mail, there will be 4 committees for this funfair: LOGISTICS, PUBLICITY, MANPOWER and EXCO. More details provided in the other document attached on COMMITTEES.
- CLASSROOM CLEANLINESS. Please remember to do your assigned duties and don't slack because we all strive towards a cleaner, better classroom... don't we. :D
- NOTICEBOARD COMMITTEE. Please remember that you have to email Grace, Pingghee and Miss Lye a plan of what you are going to do (detailed, please) and by Monday get to work, even if it's just a little bit, we appreciate it! :D
- CLASS + SCHOOL SUGGESTIONS. Nobody has approached me for PSS forms! D: If you are perfectly content with the way the school is being run that's good (yay NYGH! <3)>
- WHITEBOARD DOODLING FEE. Please be reminded (as Sarah has already told/written to you) that if you doodle or advertise on the class whiteboard, a fee of 10 cents will be implemented. This is to avoid the huge cluster of words that have occured (NON-LESSON-TIME) on our whiteboard many times. The whiteboard is reserved for class announcements (homework submissions, class fund collections, etc.) and teachers' use. If you want to advertise, please use word of mouth... or post it, or email it by class email. If you want to doodle, there's always plastic pockets and your own marker, or paper, the good ol' trustworthy source. Please understand the importance of this. Like Natalie said... This is the reason why our markers all run out of ink. The blue one, which we just changed like 2 or 3 days ago, is already running slightly low.
- INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP DAY FOLKTALE. I am pleased to inform you that the Philippines folktale, Tiny Bird, that our class submitted for International Friendship Day as been selected as one of the top. I will be presenting it to the school next Friday (or a Friday, I can't remember which). It is enclosed for your perusal. Enjoy!
